Moors came from behind to beat Bishop Auckland at The Brewery Field and claim their second pre-season victory in as many games.
The visitors opened the scoring just after half time through Koby Errat-Thompson, before Glen Taylor fired home an equalising penalty just two minutes later.
Graeme Lee’s men took the lead through substitute, Junior Mondal, with Corey McKeown rounding off the victory with Moors’ third a minute from time.
Both sides saw early chances, with McKeown and Taylor having their shots blocked one after the other, only for Mikey Roberts to fire narrowly wide at the other end.
McKeown almost put Moors in front on a couple of occasions in the opening 20, with his first strike curling wide of the right post, and his second brilliantly saved by the outstretched leg of Alfie Gordan.
Gordan was yet again called to action as he had to get down low to stop a close range, Dan Rowe header on the 21st minute.
Taylor almost got Moors ahead just before the half-hour mark as he fired a ball across goal which agonisingly missed the oncoming feet of Cam Salkeld at the back post.
The captain went close again on the 40th minute as he smashed a strong effort off the outside of the woodwork after some good movements in the build-up.
Moors finished the half the stronger as Trialist A unleashed a wicked shot from 25 yards out that was forced just wide of the left post via an important deflection from a Bishops man.
The game really took off after half time, with Bishop Auckland finding the net just four minutes in. A looping ball into the area found the head of Errat-Thompson who did well to wrestle space off Moors men and head home past Brad James.
Their lead was short lived, however, as Moors found the leveller just two minutes later. The referee pointed to the spot after Taylor was taken down in the area, and Moors number 9 made no mistake as he fired the ball home from 12 yards.
Mondal almost put Moors ahead on the hour mark as Alfie Doherty set the winger up in the area, only for his shot to be well saved by Gordan.
It was Mondal’s turn to play in Alfie Doherty on the 73rd minute, but again Gordan was there to stop the Moors man.
Bishops looked to try and retake the lead through Wayne Whitfield, however, his freekick was well over the bar.
Moors did eventually take the lead through Mondal, who worked his way around the six-yard box before drilling an effort low past Gordan, giving Lee’s side the advantage for the first time in the fixture.
The icing on the cake came with just a minute of the game left, as Mondal was hacked down in the area after a lightning quick counter, giving Moors their second penalty of the half. Winger McKeown stepped up and converted the spot kick to give Moors the victory.
