FA Cup Third Round Qualifying

The Brewery Field

The Opposition
Chadderton currently find themselves midtable in the North West Counties Football League, after a mixed bag of results at the beginning of their competitive season.

Carl Taylor and Ben Greenidge’s side suffered defeat in midweek as they were knocked out of the FA Vase in the Second Qualifying Round by fellow NWCFL side West Didsbury and Chorlton, losing 3-1 at home.

Chaddy have already played four FA Cup ties to reach this position, beating Stockport Town, FC St Helens and Bishop Auckland on the way, before overcoming FC United of Manchester in the last round, courtesy of a 45-yard screamer from Matty Crothers.

Previous Meetings
Saturday’s fixture will see the two sides meet competitively for the first time.

Referee
John Mulligan will be the man in the middle for Saturday’s action at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Michael Johnson and Joel Tilmouth. Jamie Cann will be our Fourth Official.
