The Impact Arena

The Opposition
A slow start to the current campaign saw Alfreton Town make a change at the top when long-serving boss Billy Heath stepped down from the role in September.

Former Reds defender Jack Buxton arrive last month to take the reins at The Impact Arena and try to drive Town away from the National League North danger zone.

Buxton celebrated his first win in charge when Alfreton picked up three points from an eye-catching 1-0 triumph at Chorley last Tuesday night.

However, they were unable to back that up on Saturday when they were beaten at home by league-leaders AFC Fylde to leave them second bottom in the table.

Previous Meetings
Moors locked horns with Alfreton Town no fewer than four times last season, being drawn together in both the FA Cup and the FA Trophy.

Graeme Lees men enjoyed the edge overall – having been knocked out of the FA Cup at The Impact Arena, Moors won there in the league and the FA Trophy and also enjoyed a 3-1 win when the sides met at The Brewery Field in February.

Referee
Darren Rogers will be the man in charge for Tuesday evening’s encounter at The Impact Arena, and he will be assisted by Mohd Sarwari and Bradley Maw. Martin Beard is the Fourth Official.
