We turn the spotlight on Tuesday night’s National League North action as Moors play host to Scarborough Athletic at The Brewery Field.
Spennymoor Town v Scarborough Athletic
National League North
Tuesday 30th December 2025, 7.45pm
The Brewery Field

The Opposition
Scarborough Athletic arrive at The Brewery Field on Tuesday night sitting seventh in National League North following their Boxing Day defeat at home to Darlington.
Jonathan Greening’s side enjoyed a wonderful opening to 2025/26 and eight wins from their first 11 league outings so them right up among the pacesetters.
However, The Seadogs have struggled to capture that same level of consistency since a run of four consecutive defeats punctured their momentum in October.
A superb 4-0 triumph at Peterborough Sports just before Christmas injected new confidence into the group and now they’ll be hoping to round off 2025 in style in County Durham.
Previous Meetings
Incredibly, the last six meetings between the two sides have ended in draws – and the last four encounters have all finished 1-1.
The only victory in this fixture came back in December 2010 when Moors ran out 3-0 winners in Scarborough in the FA Vase.
Referee
Scott Henry will be the man in the middle for Tuesday evening’s action at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Geoffrey Liddle and Simon Clayton. Lewis Marriner is our Fourth Official.
Tickets
The game is not segregated, and both home and away supporters are able to buy their tickets online in advance or by cash and card on the turnstiles from 6.30pm.
