Saturday’s National League North fixture against AFC Telford United has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at The Brewery Field.

Temperatures have plummeted in recent days and below freezing conditions overnight on Thursday increased concerns about the weekend game.

With our opponents’ long journey in mind, a pitch inspection was arranged for 11am on Friday morning and this was carried out by local referee, Martin Coy.

Unfortunately, with temperatures due to remain low in the coming days, there was no alternative but to postpone Saturday’s fixture.

All tickets purchased for the game will remain valid for the rearrangement and we’ll have details on a new date once it is confirmed.
