Preview: Hereford v Moors

We turn the focus to Saturday’s National League North action as Moors make the trip to face Hereford at Edgar Street.

Hereford v Spennymoor Town
National League North
Saturday 24th January 2026, 3pm
Edgar Street

The Opposition
Hereford have slipped into National League North’s bottom four on the back of a run which has seen them win just once in their last 12 league outings.

The Bulls last tasted victory when they overcame Peterborough Sports 2-0 at the beginning of December, thought they have picked up draws in their last two games at King’s Lynn Town and Merthyr Town.

It’s been a campaign of inconsistency so far for Paul Caddis’ side and fans will be hoping that the second half of the season can see them climb clear of trouble near the bottom of the table.

Previous Meetings
Moors opened the 2025/26 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Hereford at The Brewery Field thanks to first half goals from Glen Taylor and Dan Rowe.

This weekend they will go in search of three successive wins over The Bulls after also triumphing 2-0 when the sides met at Edgar Street back in February.

Referee
George Warren will be the man in charge at Edgar Street on Saturday, and he will be assisted by Simon Kavanagh and Ryan Price. Ashley Clarke will be the Fourth Official.

Tickets
Moors fans are encouraged to buy their tickets online in advance as a saving can be made on purchases made in The Bulls’ Ticket Office on the day.
