Moors fell to defeat at Mill Farm as they conceded five to a ruthless AFC Fylde side for the second time this season.
Danny Ormerod opened the scoring with only 18 seconds on the clock, before Jon Ustabasi added another just five minutes later to set the tone for a miserable night.
The Coasters added their third through a Dan Jones own goal, before Ustabasi doubled up in the second half to complete an impressive hat-trick.
It took just 18 seconds for the hosts to find the breakthrough, as Ormerod found the net. A quick move from kick-off saw them find the frontman, who grabbed the game’s opener with a smart finish across Brad James and into the bottom corner.
Ustabasi doubled the score in the sixth minute when he found the bottom right corner of James’ net from the edge of the penalty area to add to an impressive start from Craig Mahon’s side.
Tom Whelan had a chance to put the hosts up by three just before the half hour mark, but he saw his effort go wide of the mark from inside of the area.
Glen Taylor went close to pulling a goal back just before the break when he smashed an effort goalward, only to see it fly over the bar from distance.
It went from bad to worse for Graeme Lee’s men when The Coasters got their third just 11 minutes into the second 45. Tom Whelan’s inswinging free-kick found the head of Moors defender Jones, who unfortunately saw the ball find the back of the net.
It didn’t take long for Fylde to find a fourth after that, as a quick corner from the hosts found Ormerod, who fizzed a ball into the feet of Ustabasi at the back post, who calmly slotted home past James to add another to his tally.
Moors saw a half chance go begging in the 66th minute when Rob Ramshaw had his powerful effort tipped over the bar from close range. However, the resultant corner came to nothing.
Fylde’s grabbed their fifth just a minute later, as Ustabasi finished off his hat-trick with a composed finish. A brilliant move from the hosts saw the ball find the number 11 free inside the area, who made no mistake and netted his third of the match into the bottom left corner.
Luke Hunter and Tom Whelan both saw chances to add a sixth go begging as time began to wind down, however, neither came to fruition.
