The Club can confirm that defender Dan Rowe has now left Spennymoor Town and joined Redcar Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

Rowe joined Moors in the summer of 2024 and went on to make 53 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals in the process.

However, a deal has now been struck with The Steelmen which sees the centre-back make a switch to sign for the Northern Premier League East Division leaders.

“I said before that we’ve recently had some productive conversations with all the players in the squad,” explained Moors boss Graeme Lee.

“When we spoke to Dan, he indicated that he would like to explore opportunities to move on and we didn’t want to stand in his way.

“It always will be our position to only keep players at the Club who absolutely want to be here, and Dan leaves with our thanks for his service and our very best wishes for the future.”
