We turn the focus to Tuesday’s National League North action as Moors make the trip to face Southport at Haig Avenue.
Southport v Spennymoor Town
National League North
Tuesday 10th March 2026, 7.45pm
Haig Avenue
The Opposition
Southport have recovered from a slow start to the 2025/26 campaign to enjoy a much better run of National League North form in recent weeks.
Neil Danns’ men lost seven of their first nine outings this term, but they turned a corner at the beginning of November and come into Tuesday’s game on the back of a five-game unbeaten run in the league.
They currently sit 16th in the table but they now have three home games in a row to attack, with Oxford City and Alfreton Town also set to visit Haig Avenue over the next week.
Previous Meetings
Moors were 2-0 victors when the sides met at The Brewery Field back in October thanks to goals from Glen Taylor and Junior Mondal.
The last three meetings at Haig Avenue have also gone Moors’ way – the most recent a 4-1 triumph last January when Glen Taylor, Matty Dolan, Junior Mondal and Aidan Rutledge all scored.
Referee
John Mulligan will be the man in the middle for Tuesday’s encounter at Haig Avenue, and he will be assisted by Alexander Perkin and Jordan Tindall. Ben Stott is Fourth Official.
