Rob Ramshaw has pledged his future to the Club after agreeing terms on a new two-year deal to keep him at The Brewery Field until the summer of 2028.
The all-action midfield star has racked up an impressive 446 appearances in all competitions and hit the net 56 times since joining Moors back in 2016.
Ramshaw’s performances have made him hugely popular with supporters, and he’s also provided plenty of memorable moments, including scoring the winner against Stourbridge in 2017 to clinch promotion to National League North.
Last term he played a part in all but five games in the league and scooped the Club’s Goal of the Season award for his incredible volley at Macclesfield in April.
Moors boss Tommy Miller worked with Ramshaw in his previous spell in charge and was keen to ensure the long-serving midfielder was retained.
“Rob is such an important player for us, so we’re delighted he’s staying,” Miller explained.
“The energy he brings to the midfield is crucial and it’s often the case that if he performs to his highest level then we play well as a team.
“He also has an enormous among of quality as we’ve seen in so many of his important goals over the years and we hope there are plenty more to come too.
“There’s nobody better at breaking the lines and running in behind opposition defences so we’re looking forward to seeing that continue over the next two years.”
