Pre-season action returns to The Brewery Field on Thursday evening when Moors play host to Newcastle United Under-21s in their latest friendly (7pm kick-off).

Tommy Miller’s men face two games in three days as preparations for the new campaign ramp up, with Gateshead set to visit The Brewery Field on Saturday for Rob Ramshaw’s testimonial.

Moors have had mixed results so far during a pre-season which has also seen injuries to Louis Stephenson and Cam Salkeld, while Brad James is yet to feature due to a back problem.

Newcastle’s Under-21s are managed by former Middlesbrough midfielder Robbie Stockdale and will offer a different type of test to those encountered previously.

The game is not segregated, meaning fans of both teams can buy their tickets online in advance right now or simply pay by cash or card on the main turnstiles.
