Moors were delighted to host the staff and players of West Bromwich Albion at The Brewery Field this week as they prepared for Saturday’s EFL Championship clash against Middlesbrough.
The former Premier League side trained at The Brewery Field across Thursday and Friday following their Carabao Cup fixture against Newcastle earlier in the week.
WBA manager, James Morrison, had this to say about the club…
“We asked a few clubs if we could use their facilities to prepare for the Middlesbrough game and we ended up going to Spennymoor Town to train on both Thursday and Friday.“
“Tony McMahon and I know the place well and we know a few of the guys there. They really looked after us and the pitch was immaculate. Everything on that front has been really good and we’re very grateful.”
We wish them the best of luck for their game against Middlesbrough on Saturday, and for the rest of the season!
