Moors Sign Moore On Loan

Spennymoor Town have completed the signing of exciting winger, Ethan Moore on a one-month loan deal from Kidderminster Harriers.

Moore becomes Peter Hartley’s third signing since his appointment as First Team Manager earlier this month.

The North East native came through Sunderland’s academy, featuring 18 times for their U21s last season having completed his return to football after a serious knee injury had ruled him out for the previous two years.

Ethan made a loan move towards the back end of the last campaign to National League strugglers Gateshead, and was a part of Rob Elliot’s team that pulled off a miraculous survival having been 12 points from safety at one point.

He was named in the starting 11 for the final game of the season against Altrincham, finding the net for the first time in senior football in their 3-1 away defeat.

Moore returned to Sunderland following the end of his loan spell but went on to make the permanent move to newly promoted National League side, Kidderminster Harriers in July of this year, where he has gone on to make 6 appearances and grab an assist.

Peter Hartley had this to say about Moors’ new man…

“I’m delighted to welcome Ethan to Spennymoor Town.

“If we want to be successful, we need competition in all areas and Ethan is a player who can deliver in the final third when called upon.

“I’m excited to work with him.”

Ethan will wear the Squad Number 14 during his time with the club.
