Moors Make Triple Signing Ahead Of Darlington Clash

Spennymoor Town are pleased to announce the signings of Justin Eguaibor, Logan Pye and Ihsan Rehman ahead of this afternoon’s game against Darlington.

The three newcomers make up Peter Hartley’s fifth, sixth and seventh new additions since his appointment as First Team Manager of the club.

Justin Eguaibor joins the club after spending last season at Scottish League One side Cove Rangers, where he made 37 appearances across all competitions.

Before Cove, Eguaibor spent three years with League Of Ireland First Division club, Cobh Ramblers. The 6ft 5in centre-back has now penned a deal that will see him stay with Moors until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Logan Pye signs on a deal that will see him stay with the club until January 2027. The England U-16 international came through the academies at Manchester United and Burnley, before making a loan move to Accrington Stanley last season.

The left-back most recently played his football for Darlington, signing a short term deal with the Quakers in August of this year. Following his departure from today’s opponents, Logan spent time training with us and has now earned himself a contract.

Ihsan Rehman has signed a deal that will run through until the end of the 2026/27 season, as the 19 year old winger joins the club having spent last season with St Mirren.

Rehman has also featured for Highgate, Sutton Coldfield Town and Coleshill Town, while also spending time in Reading’s academy set-up.

Peter Hartley had this to say about his new men…

“Justin brings size to the squad that I think we have lacked on the back line. He’s very comfortable on the ball and is a winner.

“Logan has been training with us for a few weeks. He has improved session by session & he’s impressed the staff with his quality on the ball.

“Ihsan is a player I’ve known for a few years now. I worked closely with him during my time at St Mirren. He’s someone who knows where the net is. He’s a very sharp player and plays with no fear.”

Justin will wear the number 15 during his time with the club. Ihsan will don the number 22 and Logan will wear the number 28.

All three are eligible for selection this afternoon.
