Spennymoor Town have completed the signing of midfielder, Musa Ceesay on a deal until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Musa becomes Peter Hartley’s ninth signing since his appointment as First Team Manager in late September.

Ceesay grew up in Girona, beginning his career with local sides in Catalonia, most notably Camp de Futbol de Sant Jaume de Llierca.

The 6’5″ midfielder moved to the UK in 2019, signing for Lye Town before securing a move to Redditch United. He also featured in spells for Halesowen Town.

Musa spent the 2025/26 season with Worcester City before moving onto Quorn in the summer and then, most recently, to Matlock Town.

Peter Hartley had this to say about his new defender…

“I’m really happy to have added Musa to this squad.

“He will bring a balance to our midfield and will help to add qualities that the team doesn’t have, but needs in order for us to be successful.”

Ceesay will wear the squad number 38 during his time with the club.
