Brad Abbott has been named Aztec Colour Print Player of the Month for August following an impressive start to life at The Brewery Field.

Abbott, who was Moors’ first signing of the summer, won the penalty converted by Glen Taylor and set up Scott McLean in his first competitive against Boston United.

The midfielder then scored twice and played a key role in the 3-2 win over Southport at The Brewery Field.

Abbott was presented with the award by Aztec Colour Print Director Lee Redford before Saturday’s game over Farsley Celtic.
