Moors in the Community celebrated Halloween in style last week when they hosted two hugely successful parties at The Brewery Field.
Over 80 children across two evenings enjoyed some Halloween-themed fun in the Clubhouse at the stadium as Moors opened their doors to the local community once again.
Community Development Manager Luke Cowie was at the heart of the celebrations, and he was thrilled with the response to the two events which took place last Wednesday and Thursday.
“We were really pleased with the way the parties went – even though some of the costumes were very scary indeed,” he laughed.
“Hopefully we can continue to keep on adding more events like this to the schedule because our goal is to ensure the whole community of Spennymoor feels engaged with the Football Club.
“Things like this may be only a small part of that but it was a great turnout on both nights and it was brilliant to see the smiles on everyone’s faces.”
