Matty Dolan has admitted the opportunity to enjoy the next stage of his career with Spennymoor Town was too big to turn down after he put pen to paper on a permanent deal at The Brewery Field.

The former Hartlepool United, Newport County and Yeovil Town midfielder has amassed over 400 senior games during a career played almost exclusively in Leagues One and Two.

Now he’s ready to use that vast experience to help drive Moors up the National League North table and pass on his knowhow to the next generation of players.
