Moors Ladies make their return to action on Sunday when they play host to Alnwick Town in the League Cup at New Ferens Park (2pm kick-off).
Billy Shackleton’s side were without a game last weekend as they pondered just their fourth league defeat of the season last time out at Bradford City.
Now they will approach Sunday’s clash with Alnwick with a determination to get back on track in the cup as they continue their quest to land silverware.
Moors have already completed a NERWFL Premier Division double over their Northumberland opponents, enjoying a 2-0 win at The Brewery Field in September before triumphing 3-2 when the sides met again just a month ago.
Shackleton may opt to rotate his squad for the cup tie, though one player who won’t be involved is full-back Olivia Mole who has now left the Club in search of more regular football.
The game at New Ferens Park in Durham kicks-off at 2pm and fans are welcome to attend, with admission prices set at £3 for adults and free for all those under 12.
