Graeme Lee has completed his second signing of the summer after agreeing a deal to bring attacking full-back Dane Burlace to The Brewery Field from Bishop Auckland.
The 22-year-old former Leeds United trainee has most recently been in the colours of Bishops for whom he signed in the summer of 2022 after starring for Easington.
Burlace enjoyed a wonderful 2023/24 campaign for Bishops, as he was a near ever-present down the right flank during their Northern League title-winning season.
An adventurous right-back with the ability to deliver dangerous balls into the opposition penalty area, Burlace made 45 appearances last term and chipped in with four goals.
“I am delighted that Dane has chosen us for the next step in his career,” Moors boss Lee told us.
“He’s a player I have been aware of for a while and kept tabs on, so when the opportunity arose to bring him to our Club we moved quickly.
“Dane is a good defender, but we know he also provides a threat going forward so he’s a player that we’re really looking forward to working with and developing.
“He fits the bill in terms of what we’re looking for in that he’s young and hungry to improve, so getting this deal done so early in the summer is great news for us.”
