Brad James’ weekly goalkeeper coaching sessions for youngsters have got off to a promising start with a brilliant turnout at Whitworth Park Academy,

Moors’ Number One is putting something back into the Spennymoor community by hosting specialist goalkeeper training every Monday for boys and girls aged 7 to 16.

After just two weeks of the sessions, already a number of local youngsters are taking advantage by coming along to enjoy the activity and improve their goalkeeping.

As an extra surprise for the up-and-coming goalies who attended this Monday, Blackburn Rovers keeper Aynsley Pears joined Brad on the training ground to pass on his tips and advice to thrilled youngsters!

If you’re interested in getting involved in this brilliant new initiative, then your child can join sessions split into three age groups every Monday night at Whitworth.

4.30pm: 7-9 years
5.30pm: 10-12 years
6.30pm: 13-16 years

The cost of the sessions is just £30 per month and bookings can be made by emailing [email protected]
