Moors defender Dan Myers has joined Blyth Spartans on a three-month loan deal.
The defender arrived at The Brewery Field in January following his departure from Marske United where he had previously played under Moors boss Graeme Lee.
However, Myers has been on the fringes of Lee’s starting eleven so far this season and has made just six appearances in all competitions during 2024/25.
It’s now been agreed for Myers to move on loan to Blyth on a deal which will run until Saturday 22nd February, though Moors will have the option to recall following the first 28 days.
“It’s simply the case that Dan needs to be playing more regular football,” explained Lee.
“He’s a good footballer who has a great attitude, so I am sure that he can be a real success during his time at Blyth during which we’ll be monitoring him closely.”
Subject to league and FA approval, Myers will be in contention to make his Spartans debut when they travel to Northern Premier League leaders Macclesfield on Saturday.
