Moors’ players and staff showed their festive spirit at the weekend when they all brought in an item to donate to the Club’s Christmas Toy Appeal.

This year we’ve linked-up with Team Solan to ensure that every toy or gift donated reaches a local family that needs it most this Christmas.

And our already impressive haul collected from supporters was boosted further on Saturday when the lads turned up for the game all with something to donate.

“When I heard about the appeal the Club were doing, I knew all the lads would be happy to donate a present each,” explained Moors Assistant Manager, Ian Clark.

“We, as players and staff, are in a privileged position to be able to represent this great club so it was natural for us all to want to give something back.

“It’s brilliant to see how much the Club does for the community, not just over the festive period, and we’re all really pleased to be able to support the cause – and hopefully it encourages a few more people to donate this week too.”
