We turn the spotlight on our final game before Christmas as Moors make the National League North trip to face Oxford City at MGroup Stadium.
Oxford City v Spennymoor Town
National League North
Saturday 21st December 2024, 3pm
MGroup Stadium
The Opposition
Oxford City found themselves in National League North for 2024/25 after being relegated during their first-ever campaign at National League level last term.
Having been promoted from National League South in 2022/23, The Hoops struggled to adapt to life in the fifth tier and finished bottom of the table.
They struggled to shake off that hangover at the start of the current season and went seven games without a win before overcoming Needham Market 3-0 in late September.
Their form has picked up since then and they have recently hit back from three defeats in a row to win two of the last three, including extending their FA Trophy run with victory over Hadley in Round Three.
Previous Meeting
This will be the first time the two clubs have met each other in competitive action.
