The Club once again opened its doors last week to host our hugely popular Moors in the Community Christmas Dinner at The Brewery Field.

The event is a big part of our annual calendar and gives us the opportunity to celebrate with people involved in all our community programmes which run throughout the year.

Supported by Moors in the Community’s principal partner, UK Energy Management, we were we able to invite almost 100 guests from across the town to join us for a delicious Christmas Dinner.

Not only that, but entertainment was provided by Spennymoor Town Band who performed a catalogue of festive songs to get everything in the Christmas spirit.

“It’s just a feelgood festive atmosphere every time we host our Community Christmas Dinner,” explained the Club’s Managing Director, Ian Geldard.

“We’re so thankful to our service providers and our sponsors, especially UK Energy Management who have given us essential financial support to run this facility at The Brewery Field.

“That means that everything we do within our Clubhouse at the ground is thanks to UK Energy Management.

“It was a fantastic turnout and a really good Christmas celebration so hopefully we can do even more events throughout 2025.”
