There will be a pitch inspection at The Brewery Field at 9am on Friday morning ahead of our scheduled National League North fixture against Alfreton Town this weekend.
Moors are due to host The Reds on Saturday 11th January, but the fixture has been thrown into doubt by snow and plummeting temperatures across the area.
The Club has been in regular contact throughout the week with officials at Alfreton Town as well as Saturday’s Match Referee Alex Beckett and the relevant people at The National League.
With the pitch currently unplayable, and forecast for further extremely cold temperatures overnight on Thursday and Friday, a decision was taken to arrange an early inspection.
As a result, local referee Andrew Miller will attend The Brewery Field at 9am on Friday morning to carry out a formal inspection.
