We turn the spotlight on to the Good Friday action with a comprehensive preview of our National League North meeting with Scarborough Athletic at The Brewery Field.

Spennymoor Town v Scarborough Athletic
National League North
Friday 18th April 2025, 3pm
The Brewery Field

The Opposition
Scarborough Athletic will be hoping to end their season in positive fashion and nudge themselves into the top half of the National League North table.

Jonathan Greening’s side have slipped out of play-off contention now but will still be aiming to round off 2024/25 in winning fashion during the final three games.

The Seadogs face a County Durham double header over Easter as they will play host to Darlington on Monday following their Good Friday trip to The Brewery Field.

Previous Meeting
The points were shared when the sides met at Flamingo Land Stadium earlier in the season which was a fifth time in a row that the fixture has ended in a draw.

Scarborough looked on course to break that sequence when Luca Colville put them in front on 77 minutes but former Seadogs loan man Aidan Rutledge equaliser for Moors four minutes later.

Match Officials
Shaun Taylor will be the man in the middle for Good Friday’s action at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Jack Birch and Joel Tilmouth. Samuel Packer is our Fourth Official.
