Moors completed a bit of a transfer coup in February 2024 when they persuaded former Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad James to pen a permanent deal at The Brewery Field.
James had been on the books at The Riverside Stadium since he was 13 before his released in December 2023 and previously worked with Moors boss Graeme Lee in the youth set-up there.
The talented keeper gained his first senior experience during a successful loan spell in National League North with Gateshead in 2019/20 and also spent time on loan at Aldershot Town.
James wrote himself into the history books of Hartlepool United when on loan there in 2021 as he saved the crucial penalty in the National League Play-Off Final shootout win which saw them promoted back to the EFL.
Since then, he has had to overcome some serious injury problems which has halted his progress but he’s now keen to get his career back up and running with Moors.
