Exciting youngster Brierley signed on loan from Rochdale in late March until the end of the season.
The midfielder worked his way through The Dale’s youth setup and earned himself his first professional contract in November 2020.
Joint-managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley brought the 18-year-old into the team in order to bring more quality in possession.
