All-action midfielder Joe Wheatley became a Moor during the summer when he agreed a deal to join the club from National League North neighbours Darlington.
A former Middlesbrough youngster, Wheatley came through the ranks at the Riverside Stadium, featuring in their Under-18, Under-21 and Under-23 sides.
He moved on to join The Quakers in August 2017, scoring on his debut, becoming a regular in their midfield and earning England C recognition due to his consistent performances.
