Versatile defender Josh Doherty became Moors eighth signing of the summer of 2023 when he put pen to paper at The Brewery Field following his departure from South Shields.
The Northern Ireland born left-back started his career with his local club Ards before earning a move to England with Watford in 2012 where he stayed for the next four years.
Doherty also played for Leyton Orient before joining Crawley Town in 2017 where he went on to make almost 100 appearances over four years.
A former Northern Ireland youth international, Doherty played for Colchester United and Barnet before a brief return to Ireland prior to his link-up with Shields last season.
