defender Lebrun Mbeka became a Spennymoor Town player in January 2023 when the
Club stumped up an undisclosed fee to bring him in from Boston United.
The DR Congo-born star, who is comfortable at centre-back or in midfield, first caught the eye in English football during spells across Yorkshire with the likes of Sheffield FC, Tadcaster Albion and Ossett United.
However, it was a stint in the colours of Guiseley which really got Mbeka some attention and his consistent performances earned him a move to Boston United in the summer of 2022.
Jason Ainsley had long been an admirer and he ended a long chase to bring him to The Brewery Field when he put pen to paper on a Moors deal until the end of 2023/24.
