Highly rated front man Paul Blackett joined Moors at the start of November 2022 when the club agreed to pay an undisclosed fee with Gateshead.

Blackett fired double figures for The Heed during their title-winning campaign in 2021/22 despite injury curtailing his season early.

A former Newcastle United and Sheffield United youngster, Blackett had been with Gateshead since 2019 and had the best goal-per-game ratio of any striker to score 10 or more in National League North last term.
