Experienced defender Scott Duxbury became Moors’ first signing of the 2022 summer when he put pen to paper on a deal following his departure from Boston United.
A left-back by trade, Duxbury came through the ranks at Stockport County where he formed part of the club’s title-winning side of 2018/19 before moving on to AFC Fylde that summer.
A loan spell at Chorley followed before he made a permanent switch to Boston in September 2020 and he was in the side beaten by York City in last season’s National League North Play-Off Final.
