Steve Halford arrived at Spennymoor Town in December 2021 as part of the Club’s new management team, assisting Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley.
A former Bury, Chester City and Accrington Stanley defender, Halford also played non-league for the likes of Droylsden, Hyde United and Mossley.
He took over as Player Manager at Mossley in 2012, whilst he has also had spells in charge at Ashton United, Stalybridge Celtic, Glossop North End and Buxton.
