Following a 1pm pitch inspection, the referee is satisfied with the work being done to ensure this evening’s game at Southport can go ahead as planned.

Heavy rain overnight and this morning raised concerns but groundstaff have been working hard on the playing surface and forecast for the rest of the day is more favourable.
