We turn the spotlight on to the weekend action with a comprehensive preview of our National League North meeting with Farsley Celtic at The Brewery Field.

Spennymoor Town v Farsley Celtic
National League North
Saturday 22nd March 2025, 3pm
The Brewery Field
The Opposition
Farsley Celtic arrive at The Brewery Field this weekend looking to bring to an end a run of 10 consecutive defeats in National League North.
The sequence has seen them drop to the foot of the table and they are now 13 points adrift of safety ahead of the season run-in.
As well as troubles on the pitch, Farsley have had their issues off the pitch too with problems over the summer renovation of the playing surface at The Citadel forcing them to play their home fixtures at Buxton in recent months.
Previous Meeting
Moors ran out 3-0 winners when the sides met back in October when Graeme Lee’s men made the Friday night trip to face The Celt Army at Bradford (Park Avenue).
Glen Taylor helped himself to a couple of well taken goals and Rob Ramshaw was also on the scoresheet as Moors returned home with three points.
Match Officials
Mark Bell will be the Match Referee for Saturday’s contest at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Stephen Birkett and Elliot Cowens. Scott Henry is our Fourth Official.
