We turn the focus on Saturday’s action with a comprehensive preview of our National League North trip to The SEAH Stadium (3pm kick-off).
AFC Telford United v Spennymoor Town
National League North
Saturday 30th August 2025, 3pm
The SEAH Stadium
The Opposition
AFC Telford United ended their two-year stay outside of National League North when they clinched promotion with victory over Kettering Town in last term’s Southern League Premier Play-Off Final.
The Bucks are still awaiting their first win since returning to the sixth tier though they did rescue a useful point at the death in their Bank Holiday Monday trip to Darlington.
It’s the third time that Kevin Wilkin’s men have taken a share of the points this season, while they were beaten 1-0 in their last home game against Buxton last weekend.
Previous Meeting
Moors and AFC Telford United played out a pair of 1-1 draws when the clubs last shared National League North back in the 2022/23 season.
The most recent meeting was in Telford in January 2023 when Harry Flowers put the home side in front before Glen Taylor fired an equaliser midway through the second half.
Referee
Samuel Bragg will be the man in the middle for Saturday’s encounter at The SEAH Stadium, and he will be assisted by Mitchell Cartwright and Benjamin Scott. David Hinton will be the Fourth Official.
